We ask that you always say “goodbye” to your child rather than sneaking out, as we are working to establish trust and good communication with your child. The teachers and our Director will offer extra support to any child who is having a particularly tough transition, and we will communicate with parents to work through challenges together.

Separation is a process; some children will not experience anxiety and some will. We offer comfort, acknowledge children’s feelings, and let them know that it is okay to be upset. We work with each child and family to determine if there are additional strategies that might be effective to help with this process.
