2025-26 Annual Fund Campaign

Dear Friend of Broadway Children’s School,

When Director Diana asked me to write this letter, I didn’t hesitate to say yes—it’s easy to brag about this school. It’s less easy to ask for support, but I feel so strongly about Broadway that my discomfort has abated.

My history with Broadway began in 2023 when my wife and I began looking for a preschool for our son Isaac. I toured a number of lovely places but after my tour of Broadway we didn’t feel the need to apply anywhere else. It felt like the quintessential preschool. Isaac flourished with the play-based curriculum and the nourishing love of the teachers. After a year of trying to sneak in at drop-off, our daughter Miriam has finally joined PACT and is proud to be at the “big kid school”.

Learning and growing continue at the little yellow school as always, but there have been some changes:

          ● Much of the back fence has been rebuilt ensuring the safety of our scholars.
          ● Teacher Jessie has repainted the interior of the school a lovely periwinkle.
          ● Assistant Director/Teacher Jennifer celebrated her 20th year of teaching at Broadway

Broadway continues to be an incredible part of the neighborhood fabric, educating and socializing the newest members of our community. Our annual fundraising drive is critical in helping Broadway continue to fulfil this mission. These funds help us to retain our wonderful teachers, improve the facilities, and continue to offer scholarships to families in need. All money donated benefits our young students and sets them upon the path of joyous learning.

This year we are aiming to raise $25,000. In addition to our regular operation, we have a number of larger projects on the horizon including:

          ● Replacing the original windows
          ● Upgrading our aging floors with low VOCs Marmoleum
          ● Replacing some of the most thoroughly loved toys
          ● Rebuilding the play structures and landscaping

There are many noble causes to support and we are grateful for any contribution you make. All gifts are welcome and every dollar gets us closer to our goal. Thank you for supporting our amazing preschool and precious students.

With Sincere Appreciation,
Daniel O Neil
